Hello friends, this is Rahulios checking in again with the latest on the ultimate song search. Last week was a very tough week. As a result one of the match-ups was EXTREMELY close. The winners from last weeks were Piya Haji Ali by 80% of the votes and Chak De Phatte which barely made it through with 51% of the votes.

Yesterday we heard the good news from the new and proud father “Ahmed” who is our dear member. We now have a baby on board and is a beautiful addition to this virtual family.

RajaHasan.Com would like to Congratulate Ahmed on becoming a father to a healthy and beautiful baby boy. He proudly has named him “Nauman Raza”.

Colors and Sphere Origins’ Balika Vadhu has achieved no ordinary feat. This daily recorded a TRP rating of 6.76 to emerge as the number show across all Hindi GECs in the last week. Doubling Colors’ joy is that with 236 GRPs, they are tied with Zee TV at the second spot.

In the latest rating for week 39 (21/09/08 to 27/09/08), Balika Vadhu reached a high of 6.76 on Friday (September 27) that enabled it to topple the incumbent Bidaai (Star Plus) who registered a rating of 6.57. It must be noted that unlike Balika Vadhu, Bidaai airs from Monday to Thursday. Nevertheless, occupying the top spot in less than three months since it launched is quite a remarkable achievement.

An elated Sunjoy Wadhwa, producer of the show says, “We expected the show to do well and receive critical acclaim but to become the number one show is less than three months is something which we had not dreamt of. Our concept is noble and such kind of story telling has never happened and so we were confident of reaping the rewards. Personally this a great moment of pride as it’s for the first time that a Sphere Origins show has been rated number one.”

It’s no secret that the juvenile couple Anandi (Avika Gor) and Jagdish (Avinash Mukherjee) has touched most hearts. The two kids were to be part of the show for only 80 episodes but their outstanding performance has resulted in an extended role for them.

After being in denial mode earlier, Sunjoy now reveals the truth. “The children were to be part of the show for only 80 episodes but their popularity means that they will get an extension. Currently we’ve shot only 40 episodes.”

The little star of the hour Avika ‘Anandi’ Gor says, “It feels great. Honestly speaking, when I was told the story, I expected something like this was going to happen. So, I’m not at all surprised with the result. I’d like to treat my friends provided my father allows me too.”

Eid Mubarak to Everyone Once Again!!

Alright I am BACK!!! Well first I am sorry to be missing and not giving the due tributes but then I had my own reasons to be missing in action. Well they say its better late then never so let’s get started.

I firmly believe that birds of same feather flock together. We, from past one year has been following one person so closely that we give our precious time of our life’s in finding out what’s happening in his world and where he went, what he did and so on and so forth. His every little success and his every smile brighten our day. Any negative remark for him makes us fume and loose our sleep. Yes that is for Raja Hasan. He is “THE” reason that we are together. Many say there can be only one Raja Hasan or Raja Hasan happens only once in a blue moon. Is it true? I say its not!! As far as I am concerned I see many Raja Hasan’s right here on this site. This website is full of Raja Hasan’s both male Raja Hasan and female version of Raja Hasan’s. They behave noble, down to earth, completely human and has immense love for everyone. They speak kind words and also words of wisdom and care. And yes so I give this week’s tribute to one such female version of Raja Hasan. To me she is more then Raja Hasan as she fondly calls Raja her son. So definitely a mother has to be much higher in ranking then her son. Am I right?

It is my honor and privilege to give tribute to our dear Urmee who also goes with the name Rupraj.

I have been very fortunate enough to share a very special friendship with Urmee and feel for her just like I feel for my own sister. She is a beautiful lady with one 11 year old who apparently has been neglected once she adopted Raja as her son. There is a very sweet jealous story which you will read in a little bit.

She became a fan of Raja when she spotted him sing “Allah ke Bande”. In her own words she says: “I became a instant fan of raja with ‘Allah ke bande’, I started behaving like a mother then my 11yr old son felt so neglected, he was very envious and he would vote for Amanat & Aneek just to fight with me then I said actually he is ur big brother and he looks like u and only then he came to some term. My husband, my sisters my mom all are his fans…I prayed desperately for his wildcard entry…I was happy till 13th Oct….I was so depressed…I cried the whole night for my elder son ‘raja’.

There are many members here who feel they are the number one fan of Raja Hasan and Urmee too considers herself as the biggest fan of Raja Hasan and feels if some one is going to beat her to the title then at least no one can beat her to be the numero uno fan of Raja in her own state Orissa. She has Raja’s pictures as her wall paper, on her mobile and she listens to him and actually only him all day long. She feels so strongly for him that she wishes and prays that he will be born as her son in her next birth.

Urmee shares the same Zodiac sign and is born on Jan 18^th. Like mother like son? I guess so. She never had voted for anyone in her life but Raja’s love pulled her and made her do things which she never thought of. She not only sent unlimited SMS’s from her mobile but also borrowed her husband’s, sister’s, brother in laws and also her cousin’s phones to send SMS’s to Raja. Everything fair in love in war – I guess so.

How did she land on this website? Well in her own words she says: “I came here after the grand finale. I was voting continuously from my mobile. In my surrounding, I find almost .o1% or even less people voting for any program….I was also among them!!!!…but raja in ‘allah ke bande’ made me wild instantly…I knew in my heart that Raja will reach the top and after 13th Oct there was no option left so I goggled saregamapa 2007…but not of much help…desperately I typed rajahasan.com and I landed here…..thank God…and thank rhb…God bless u. I don’t have a broadband connection and so it takes so much time to open a single page - even sometimes it won’t open….see my plight ….I sit for hours together to have some news of my darling betu, Raja…mine is a very small but famous town in Orissa, smaller than Bikaner.”

When we ask one question to Raja Hasan fans that why they are his fans? The answer comes in various forms. Some say his singing, some talk about his looks, his smile or his personality. Urmee asked the same question to herself and this is what she did to find out the answer from within. “During the early days of the competition, I used to do a sort of test - a test to judge myself & Raja. I would close my eyes and listen to him carefully by excluding his charismatic face value to know if "am I biased?" Well, the ans comes as "no, he has a soul-touching voice.” Again another day, I would mute the sound of my TV & will only judge his expressions-the ans to my question comes-"yes, I am carried away by his childlike innocent face too. This gave me a conclusion that let it be a blind person, or a deaf person, he can be mesmerized by Raja Hasan and as I am from a science background I do love experiments.”

Now this is not all. There is more to dear Urmee. She is one person who is spiritual, loving, caring and full of good things to say about everyone around her. She is one person who cares not only for her own family and friends but also animals.

She has a small beautiful green garden and last year it so happened that two birds came and made their nest in front of her balcony. They lay four eggs in it and in about four days time they were four tiny baby birds. But all was not happy at this tinsel town. It started to rain heavily and violently making the tree swing in 3 feet radius. Parents could not fetch food for the babies and were restless jumping in Urmee’s balcony. Urmee was sad looking at all this. She tied big polythene over them but since the wind was so strong, it blew away. It was night and what did Urmee do, she stood in her balcony entire night in that thunder storm with a torch in her hand protecting that nest. She saw baby birds shivering with cold and then she just couldn’t see them suffering any more so she cut those leaves and brought them home. She made another nest with cotton and a thermacol bowl and kept them warm. She fed them with some ants and atta with a twister. By this time she was not alone to take care of the birds, her sisters rushed home to help her out. They picked the farthest elevated corner of her balcony to build the nest for the birds where they could be safe and sound. They then brought the old nest and placed it next to it so that the parent birds can know where their babies are. But parent birds were no where to be seen. After some time parent birds came but they started looking at the old place and refuse to come towards her balcony. Urmee started to feel even more bad and restless. When she almost had given up hope she then saw one of the parent birds peeping into the new nest but they didn’t feed them. They looked at them and flew away. Urmee here was almost on the verge to cry desperately but at that point she spotted both the parent birds coming back to the nest and feeding the babies. This was “THE” moment Urmee was waiting for. She was so happy that she started crying. She observed them for the next 12 days where she came to know that baby birds learned to fly in that time and along with the bird parents, Urmee was a happy mother to see the happy bird family.

So friends this was little about our Urmee. You can make out what a person she is. When she does so much for an animal then what her heart must be like. She is genuine, she is beautiful inside out and she is perfect in everything. She showers her love unconditionally. I say Raja is very lucky that he got Urmee as a fan, as a mother, as a friend and as a well wisher. I am very proud of Urmee!

Urmee, I wanted to pay this tribute to you long time ago but due to my hand I couldn’t write sooner but I want to tell you, you have a very special place in my heart and I love you very much. I feel so honored to have you in my life and as my friend and a sister. I sure hope and pray that I get to meet you sometime soon.

May God bless you always and may he always shower his bestest and choicest blessings on you. This world needs people like you and I hope you get to live a million healthy and happy years. May all your dreams, desires and wishes come true. I can say that I believe in angels because I have friends like you in my life!

Here are the answers to the Raja Hasan crossword #1. A few variations from the answers that you got – but those are acceptable.

For instance, the Dubai guru – could have been both AADESH and WADKAR. Both fit in. Or the “keeda” could have been both SING or GANA. And the “whistle blower” could be VD (Vishal Dadlani) or ID (Ismail Darbar).

With the Dandiya fever just around the corner - Raja Hasan will be back in action.

Starting tomorrow night - 30th September, he willl be performing at the Dandiya Nites’ 08 at the Zee group owned Essel World amusement park in Mumbai.

Along with Raja Hasan, would be other Saregamapa singers like Poonam, Sumedha and Mauli Dave. Also featuring in the even would be playback singer Vatsala and folk singer Bihari Hemu Gadhvi.

The event runs from 30th September to 9th October - every evening, 7 p.m. onwards. If you are in or around Mumbai - make it a point to drop in. Weekday tickets are Rs.300 and weekends will cost you Rs.350.

Also, there’s a good chance of the event footage being telecast on one of Zee owned channels like Zee News - so keep a watch out on them as well.

This site always had a perfect mixture of everyone joining in from around the world. With 168 Countries logging in to check the news and views of Raja Hasan and the hits per day multiplying to manifolds, it only show the strong bond that the members have started to share with one another. We worked very hard whether it was during SRGMP or ESBE. The amount of hard work that Raja put, I guess we put double the amount to make sure his hard work does not go waste. We have made his dreams as “OUR” dreams and are working towards seeing him on top. It does make’s us feel good that we supported a mere contestant from Eklavya from day one and believed in him that he got everything to make it big tomorrow. It is a wonderful feeling to see him attain success today.

But in this journey of Raja Hasan, many of us came closer to each other. We share everything under the sun and look forward to seeing each other or rather reading each others messages on board. This place is no more a fan place but a virtual home for us. There are more then 15,000 people who log in everyday without fail but who do not leave a message. They do come daily though – what is it that makes them log in to the site even at times when not much news going on? Of course the attachment they share with the people here. What is it that when the new members who join in they don’t feel out of place and are able to mix so easily? Many celebrities also do login to the site on regular basis and read not only the articles here but the comments that the members make. I am sure even they must be addicted to this place no wonder we see so many of their IP’s on regular basis.

Disco Dandiya ’08 promises to be one of the most rocking dandiya festivals in Dubai. 
 
The line-up of performers includes TV show Sa Re Ga Ma Pa’s talented young discoveries Mouli Dave, Aneek Dhar and Raja Hasan, backed by the Sa Re Ga Ma Pa Band.

Kamran Ahmed, the voice behind “Judai”, from the movie “Jannat” will also make a special appearance.

DJ Suketu, DJ NYK, DJ Nawed and Dubai-based RJ Abhijeet will be on hand to keep the tempo going.

Catch the disco dandiya fever every night from October 2 to October 4 at the Zabeel Park Amphitheatre in area A, near Gate 3.
